  2. To Laura Catherine’s friends and relatives: My name is Carl B. McMillan Jr. [Buster] and I was [am] a friend of Laura’s dating back to her childhood. The Brown’s lived about a quarter of a country mile from Uncle Maxie McMillan and his family, south of Mullins, South Carolina. My cousin Tommy Mc. and I would often walk down the road to see the Browns when I was visiting my Uncle. I’ve not seen her, or her brothers, in well over 50 years, but I’m sure I would know her if she looks like the picture shown here. Her resume’ is most impressive, obviously an accomplished lady. It would have been interesting to have known her and all that she was involved in. We were the same age, 75. This is sad news. May the Almighty smile upon her soul and grant her everlasting peace and happiness. CBMc
